This year ESN Lecce had the chance to bring many Erasmus students to the incredible Notte della Taranta, one of the most iconic cultural events in Salento. Surrounded by music, lights, and thousands of people, the students discovered the beauty of local traditions and couldn’t resist dancing the pizzica, the heart and soul of the festival.

It was a night full of laughter, energy, and authentic emotions, where international students felt part of something bigger — sharing culture, joy, and unforgettable moments together. The rhythm of the drums, the passion of the dancers, and the magic of the atmosphere made this experience truly unique.

For many Erasmus, it wasn’t just about attending a festival, but about living a piece of Salento’s identity that will stay in their hearts forever.
